This simple pattern has 3 pleats and is a replica of the disposable masks that people buy and throw away after only one use. I specifically made this pattern for an organic hemp/cotton blend. The pattern is graded in 8 sizes, which includes 3 for children. Sizing is from toddler to adult plus sizing. Everything used to make this mask is 100% biodegradable, eco-friendly and sustainable. When the mask’s use has ended, you can be assured this mask will not leave a heavy footprint when disposed of like other masks might.
When sewing, I recommend using 100% organic cotton/hemp-certified organic cotton for the best results. Links for fabrics and notions that are sustainable are included with the digital pattern PDF.
